Electronic Saviors DC CD Release Party to Cure Cancer

Today, I sat at a booth with an old friend for a cause unbelievable to me. Erika and I were manning a table selling shwag because our friend Nicole Puzan was diagnosed with stage iiic Ovarian Cancer in mid-January. Who is Nicole Puzan? Well she is a 26 year old glass and textile artist who has never had a cigarette or a cocktail in her life. Nicole Puzan has always been incredibly sweet to everyone she met, and now currently is undergoing several surgeries and chemotherapy sessions that will potentially save her life. What can you do? Come to any of Private Tails' shows in March, March 4 at the Palace of Wonders, March 5 at Apex, March 7 at Town, March 14 at Phase 1, March 17 at Phase 1, March 20 at the Mautner Gala and March 29 at Omega--It's March Madness! Why March? Her birthday is March 13.

Let's get together and raise $5000 in the month of March.

Lastly, there's an art auction on Ebay called Art on a Wire. Please bid on the pieces there, as the proceeds go to Nicole's Bills. And- the profits from the "Fuck Cancer" line by Lara Watson (237inc.etsy.com) will ALSO go to Nicole. Please help, it could save her life.

Freddie's Beach Bar Drag Bingo

This is the only way for a Nubian Queen to spend her Wednesday! With her Drag Mother, Miss Ophelia Bottoms. She and Regina Jozet Adams host Beach Blanket Bingo every Wednesday at Freddie's Beach Bar in Crystal City, VA. She is looking uber-fierce with her blazer and suit pants and silver heeled platform pumps. Regina is wearing the wedding top of a mother of the bride... ay. Surprisingly, she looks fierce!

I am spending my evening here solo, yet it's a good way to spend $20. I get to play bingo and drink beer. Love it.

The bad thing is, they don't want everyone else to feel bad so they don't let me win. But it is fun coming close. I hope they slip up on of these days... Private Tails already has a crown, but she's looking for another prize.

This weekend is Gloss at Apex and a show at De La Swan (I think) with Miss Lenore. I hope everything works out. It's one my my favorite things.... performing, that it.

Next weekend is equally as booked. I am hosting a Belly Dance Extravaganza at Phase 1, then Sunday, is the Anti-Valentine's Show also at Phase 1! I LOVE it. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

I hope all of my readers can make it to at least 2 of these engagements. They are going to be out of control!

Following that is the February 17th Burlesque show (every 3rd Wednesday) then the February 27th 40th ANNIVERSARY OF PHASE 1! I will be putting together a small group number, as the stage is not conducive to large groups, but AMAZING for small ones. I adore this space. I adore this place. Phase 1 was made for me, I think. Also, I'm running for Miss Phase 1! I am gonna need votes, so....
