Cheers from Winnipeg!

This place is beautiful. It's rather serene, with amazing people who are chill and friendly and are very open minded. I'm staying with Rune, from IDKE X, and he's got hospitality to die for.

Today, we ate at the Black Sheep. It's an alternative cafe with fresh foods and happy service. I had a turkey burger with Bothwell cheese with a side salad, consisting of mixed greens and a garlic-type dressing covered in pecans! DELISH!

Now, I'm hanging out with Dione, who is a darling girl who reminds me of Anthem! very natural African hair, and piercings and body art. It's fantastic. Last night, I Skyped my girl with a new friend Laura and her lady Stephanie. It was an awesome night, but I was a bit intoxicated by the end.

I'm looking forward to everything else that is available to do here.

Everyone needs to get their butts to Winnipeg for a visit. Or hey.. move here. The money is funny looking, but it's still great. A Tunie and a Lunie? That's a $2 coin and a $1 coin. Crazy...

Discovering the capital "M"

So... for four years now, I've been an adult entertainer. My family has been extremely supportive during this transition from "me" to "Me." I have finally figured out what made me special. It's the ability to connect with my audience. The ability to make them feel good, even if only for 5 minutes. Letting them know that I am not perfect, I don't come from wealth, I haven't had an easy life, but it doesn't change who I am now. Allowing no one to take advantage of me and realizing that I am worth it, dammit!

I have this gift. People either love me for me or what I do or hate me for the same reasons. How is it possible for someone to be so rude? I really haven't done a thing, except to love and care about people who do not offer me the same courtesy.

I'm heading to Winnipeg tomorrow to jump start my international career. I think I have what it takes to make it. I already have an entourage! A security guard, a make up artist, a hair stylist, a photographer, and a mascot! I'm slightly overwhelmed by it all. But Miss Exotic World (MEW)... I'm coming for ya. ;-) As well as the New York and New Orleans Burlesque Festivals. I'm registering now for the festivals and next year, I will make it to MEW.

I think that's a nice goal.

My classes start in July, and I will be READY!
